Tracking shopping behavior with high-tech software

This is not new news, but many don’t use the software VideoMining company created back in 2011. VideoMining CEORajeev Sharma and his team have created a software that tracks the shoppers into a shop and then checks their paths.

This way the shop owners can see where to put the most valuable items along a path a customer takes and also at which height. In any case, if you are convinced via high tech hacks to buy more from a store, does that mean the store cheated on you? Or not?

I would say not. Some are going to the shops wanting to buy at least a certain thing and that is what they do. High tech software only allows the shop owners to put the most wanted thing in the most reachable places. That’s it.
