Real-life jetpack at Smithsonian Museum

The future is here. A real life jetpack that uses hydrogen peroxide and nitrogen gas has made the headlines lately when it flew at Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center. The jetpack is able to fly for 26 seconds before it runs out of fuel, but it is a great proof of concept that gives us hope that in the future we will see more such devices.

Lice Science reports that the device costs between $100k – $150k and it cannot be bought by civilians yet. The device was featured in “Future is Here festival”, hosted by Smithsonian Magazine and it flew on May 17th 2014. Great future awaits us!
