Black holes are a sure thing, but white holes? They do, somehow, exist!

Black holes are singularities in space and time that can eat up a lot of matter. Theoretically they could eat up the entire Universe and still want more.

Now comes the interesting bit: if you would to turn the time backwards those black holes would expel the matter back into the Universe. Those would be white holes, however such things have not been discovered.

Maybe the 2006 light burst bigger than a galaxy that lasted for 102 seconds would be something like this, but white holes have not yet been observed in any way. While white holes seem a good mathematical approach in some situations, we have yet to actually discover one.

Since the Universe obeys some interesting laws, like the relativity described by Einstein (see GPS), we should be ready to discover stranger things too.
