Learn how CCD senzors from a digital camera create a color image

Once again The Engineer Guy explains how our digital cameras create colorful bright images. The secret is the CCD senzor which is able to transmit electronic information to the camera’s memory.

That electronic information is based on the intensity of the light captured and, to get color images, the CCD has a filter covered with red, green and blue pixel sized sections. After the image is recorded the camera applies some math and the reconstructs the color image.

Great tech right under our noses. We could name it technomagic. 😀
