The Open University invites us to learn about six of the most intriguing concepts in philosophy and physics: Achilles and The Tortoise, The Grandfather Paradox, The Chinese Room, Hilbert’s Infinite Hotel, The Twin Paradox and Shrodinger’s Cat.
These concepts speak about the notion of finite objects formed from infinite parts, that you cannot really travel in time to the past, that there is a big difference between simulating a language and understanding it, that infinite is a notion we an work with, that the time flows slower when you fly near the speed of light or that the observer determines the result of the observation.
Simply amazing. Incredibly difficult concepts are put in a very simple forms for us to understand. What ain’t there to love?
