Being carbon based life forms we pride our selves with the DNA, an overly complex molecule that has all the information the characteristics which defines us a human beings. A cell copies the DNA sequence in about 8 hours. This incredible molecule, which is inside each cell’s nuclei, contains the genes which control body processes and shape our physiology.

You would need 9.5 years to read the entire genome which is about 6 feet long (but being a molecule, very, very thin). Another interesting fact is that the dNA would occupy about 3GB of computer storage space. That is a LOT, but hey, the DNA has very much info about us in it so why not?
