Streamflow – Interactive Information Structure [techart]

Deutsches Museum in Munich is the proud owner of Steamflow, a permanent installation representing AMGEN, the world’s largest biotech company. Steamflow uses four screen which show the flow of text and images regarding AMGEN and the user can interact with the information without touching any of the screens.

The movement is detected by Kinect which enabled you to see images, stop the flow of text and even reversing the direction. All this only by moving your hands over the screens. Minority Report style displays are already a daily fun for some of the guys out there. Neat. Via [New ways of interaction].
